This record contains the replication archive for the paper "Are lnventors or Firms the Engines of Innovation?" by Ajay Bhaskarabhatla, Luis Cabral, Deepak Hegde and Thomas Peeters, which appeared in Management Science in 2021.

Please read the Readme file which explains the empirical procedures and datasets. The dataset and do-files allow to replicate the results reported in the linked publication. The readme file exactly explains the correspondence between the results tables in the paper and the calculated results. Note that bootstrapped results may not replicate exactly because of random resampling.
